The economy poll is so colored by party in power. One of the most ridiculous versions of that type of poll was a poll on views of the economy by race. Gallup showed how blacks views fo the economy jumped significantly in 2009 despite rising black unemployment and destruction of household wealth. Now what was different about 2009 compared to 2008?
