The riotporn blog.
In an unrelated matter, a commenter at a TNR post about the ridiculous Iranian propaganda video I wrote about a while back brings to light a propaganda cartoon the Germans made to dissuade the French from listening to the BBC. I knew the Third Reich did all sorts of dastardly deeds but I had no idea they would sink so low as to infringe on American intellectual property. Never forget and never again!

Apparently Goebbels was prepared to defy both Disney and Max Fleischer. It’s pretty bad though when your propaganda has to admit that the enemy has an unstoppable air armada. And the point seems obscure – it seems to be “We can’t stop the Allies but, anyway, you’ll never see those steak and chips!” Probably provided the losers in the Milice with gloomy satisfaction.
The nature of the caricature of the radio announcer reminds the viewers that, yes, the Nazis and their fellow travellers were scum – despite what they like to think over at Moldbug’s comment postings.
Still, I expect to see an article at VDARE by Marcus Epstein about how this cartoon is really is about the perils of open borders.

The same exact point is made here:

I think most of the commenters at UR regard the Nazis as scummy demotists.

1. No, the German poster is more like “We can’t let them do that!”
2. Nobody at 2Blowhards can make a point as well as I can.
3. 2Blowhards is a Center of Pestilence, as Uncle Al would put it.

I thought 2Blowhards would be more up your alley. But on second thought, I also had expected the Hoover Hog would be, even if that’s more offensive.

Chip Smith should hire me to write a book of Stirner-y, Redbeard-y drivel. I could do it for half the price and twice as fast as any pathetic Brit Nazi.

More Axis cartoon fun can be seen at
…MOMOTARO’S DIVINE SEA WARRIORS, a feature cartoon of extreme sincerity
That Iranian thing uses computer animation and is therefore beneath notice, although that there Gene Sharp is sure scary.

ROTFL. Nothing funnier than somebody else’s ethnocentrism, eh?

I especially love the long, floppy British soldiers. Way to turn ‘they’re taller than us!’ into a disadvantage :)

All cute things love the Co-prosperity Sphere.
You’ll note that if the primary target of the Momotaro films are the evil American\Dutch\British the secondary target is obviously the Imperial Japanese Army, an institution notable by it’s complete absence in these films.
