I’m not sure if I ever actually had one. I guess it just wasn’t interesting enough (Baconators are another story, and quite good). I gather it probably has a bunch of other stuff other than meat in it, which would reduce my interest.
It always amuses me to read a blog like this one. It starts innocently– you read a few posts, you think “this guy has some out-there views but he supports his assertions. Sometimes, he makes a lot of sense. I bet if he was my neighbor we could hang out every three months or so. If he was my brother-in-law, I’d look forward to the holidays.” Et cetera. And then one day out of the blue, you realize that dude has never eaten a Big Mac. Stupefying.
Exactly. It’s mind boggling. Unbelievable really. I just can’t understand how he’s never had a Big Mac. He went out to try the new thing at KFC and even wrote a post about it. So it’s not like he’s averse to fast food or anything. And he’s a computer programmer. All they eat is junk food.
At my last job we used to always go to Wendys and the Baconator was the big thing (except when they briefly had Buffalo chicken). At my new one there are more foodies, including one who refuses to eat greasy food. That’s unfortunate for me. I actually looked for a nearby KFC from work, but it was considerably further than I wanted to walk, so I waited until I got back home and could drive to the poorer side of town.
Big Macs have been around longer than I have. They just don’t seem as interesting as the Double Down.
